Londýn
London, the capital of the United Kingdom, lies in south-east England on the Thames. With a population of nearly 9 million, it is one of the largest cities in Europe. The city is a mix of cultures, with 20% of its residents of Asian, African and Caribbean origin. London is also the second largest financial centre in the world, with countless banks and investment firms. Its attractions include Tower Bridge, Big Ben and the British Museum. A temperate climate with mild winters and warm summers makes it a good destination all year round.
